PROearth College is a newly registered private college under the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), adhering to Section 31(3) of the CET Act and Regulation 12(4) of the Regulations. This registration allows the college to offer National Certificate Vocational (NCV) programs in Information Technology, Marketing, and Finance, Economics, and Accounting. These programs are designed for learners who have completed at least Grade 9, providing an alternative to the traditional academic route and equipping students with the skills needed for the modern workforce.

Starting in January 2024, PROearth College will welcome its first cohort of students at its Centurion campus. The college offers NCV qualifications at levels 2, 3, and 4 in:

  • Information Technology: Covering electronics, information systems, system development, and entrepreneurship, along with fundamental subjects like mathematics, life orientation, and English.
  • Marketing: Including marketing communication, advertising and promotion, and consumer behavior, with a focus on developing strategic and analytical skills.
  • Finance, Economics, and Accounting: Encompassing applied accounting, financial management, economic environment, and management practice.

These programs are designed to provide a comprehensive education that integrates academic theory with practical skills, preparing students for immediate employment or further studies in higher education institutions.
