Overview

One of Services SETA’s responsibilities and primary function is to simplify skills development by creating learning programmes such as learnerships, skills programmes, internships and some other strategic learning initiatives.  They bridge the gap between formal education, training systems and the workplace by simplifying learning programmes and distributing of funding to enable accredited training institutions to deliver the training and build skills-set required by industries.

At LEARNME we offer a variety of BEE Aligned Services SETA Learnerships focusing directly on the skills needed in the service sector.

Our learning programmes are divided into 3 quadrants that includes Knowledge, Practical and Workplace Experiences.

Project Management Course Breakdown

After completion and competence in this Services Seta Learnership, learners will have a foundation on basic project management.  The knowledge and skills gained can be used to build further project management related competencies.  Learners will be able to provide administrative support to project managers and their team members and assistance with medium to large projects.

At LEARNME we have project management specialists’ facilitators, competent in all project management areas, able to support these learners until completion and ensuring upskills future project managers.

Generic Management Course Breakdown

This Services Seta Learnership is intended for learners or employees selected or interested to become first line managers in their organisation.

First line managers include:

  • Team Leaders

This Services Seta Learnership enables learners to develop their competencies in a range of knowledge, skills, attitudes and values that will include:

  • Developing, implementing, initiating and evaluation operational strategies, projects and action plans.

  • Leading teams and capitalising on the talent of team members
  • Relationships building using communication processes
  • Business ethics and applying the principles of risk

Business Administration Services Course Breakdown

This Services Seta Learnership is intended for learners or employees involved or who would like to become involved in administrative function in the organisation or any non-commercial organisation for example charities or clubs.  This learnership also contains all the needed competencies to proceed with the National Certificate: Business Administrative Services on NQF Level 4.

This learnership will ensure competence in the following learning areas:
